Payable 6 weeks before your date of departure.  Once the balance payment has cleared, we will then forward to you the directions, map and key code for access to the apartment.   Failure to send the balance in full will result in cancellation of your dates and loss of all monies paid.

7.  AGREEMENT:

  1. I agree that we will leave the apartment in a clean and tidy condition.
  2. I agree that as Lead Member of my party, I undertake to ensure all deposits and payments are made in full. 
  3. I further agree that all members of my party have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Booking.  If I fail to make the payments in full, the members of my party are then liable to pay the Invoice.
  4. I enclose a deposit of £100.00, I understand I will receive an Invoice for the balance in due course, which is payable in full – 6 weeks before date of departure.
  5. I  have read the cancellation policy and understand my £100 deposit will be returned to me in full on completion of the holiday.   However the deposit could be subject  to deductions by the owner for damage/breakages/extra cleaning etc.   I agree to this.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
 THE ‘SMALL PRINT’!

We don’t appreciate lots of ‘rules’ and conditions when planning something as joyful as a Holiday.    But we love our Apartment so much and want you to enjoy it as much as we do, and feel relaxed and ‘at home’.    The following is intended to safe guard our financial investment, as well as make our Agreement with you clear and transparent, below are the issues we could not cover in a telephone call.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND THEN SIGN THE BOOKING FORM TO SHOW YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERM AND CONDITIONS.   KEEP THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR YOUR RECORDS


BOOKINGS – the deposit of £100.00 is non-refundable due to cancellation plus damages, breakages and extra cleaning services are deducted.   OTHERWISE will be returned to you in full on completion of your holiday.     Please email us on your return to activate the REFUND.   Thank you.

Please complete the Booking Form and return with your deposit of £100.00.     On completion of your holiday, the deposit will be returned to you, in full, or minus costs of repairs/replacements/extra cleaning of the apartment etc.     The balance of the Invoice, which will be sent to you in due course, must be paid NOT LATER THAN SIX WEEKS before the date of your arrival.    This will allow time for your cheque to clear, after which we will send you directions to the apartment and the all important key code.    The Booking Form and deposit must be received by us before a reservation can be confirmed.   THE LEAD MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY UNDERTAKES TO ENSURE MONIES ARE COLLECTED AND PAID IN FULL AS REQUIRED.    FAILURE TO DO SO WILL MEAN THE LIABILITY PASSES AUTOMATICALLY TO ALL OTHER MEMBERS OF THE PARTY AS SHOWN ON THE BOOKING FORM.

PAYMENT FOR DEPOSIT AND BALANCE
Please pay by cheque in £’s Sterling -  made payable to 'MRS J M SHAW’.    The Booking is not confirmed until cheque has cleared.   Please post to:  OLD RAF HOSPITAL, AIRD, UIG, ISLE OF LEWIS, OUTER HEBRIDES, HS2 9JA.

Please note, the Deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, but will be returned to you once our Service Agency in Paphos confirms no deductions are required.    Deductions will be made in the event of breakages, damage and extra cleaning required.   [Damage/breakages/extra cleaning will mean as deemed by the Representative and/or The Owner].

CANCELLATIONS/DATE CHANGES – please read carefully
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.     In the event of a cancellation the balance will still be due SIX WEEKS prior to the commencement date of the booking.   However, if we can re-let the apartment,  a refund of the balance will be made according to the proportion of the holiday that is re-let.    PLEASE INFORM US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO GIVE US TIME TO TRY TO RE -LET THE APARTMENT AND FOLLOW UP IN WRITING.    Changes to dates made after confirmation of your booking MAY be treated as a cancellation.      Monies paid are non-transferable.    No recompense can be made on a holiday curtailed on or after arrival date.   

In the event of cancellation of any booking by the Owners, the liability of the Owners will be limited to a refund of any monies paid only.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES WITH DATES
Bookings commence from the day of arrival and ends on the day of departure.    You are welcome to use the Apartment until the time of your departure on your last day.     IMPORTANT NOTE -  In the event of another booking needing the Apartment on YOUR day of departure, then we ask that you have vacated in sufficient time to allow our cleaning service to prepare the Apartment for the incoming guests.      To help us limit this likelihood, we ask you for precise details of your times of arrival and departure, including Flight Numbers, which we pass on to our cleaning service.     Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

LIABILITY
The Owners do not accept liability for any personal injury sustained by any visitor to the premises or loss of or damage to any personal property brought onto the site and Apartment and its surroundings, however caused.    THIS IS AN APARTMENT ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND HAS A RAIL AROUND THE BALCONY, AND AT ALL TIMES PARENTS/CARERS OF CHILDREN MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN AND THEMSELVES.   PLEASE TAKE A FEW MOMENTS WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE APARTMENT TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE SLIDING DOORS WORK AND HOW THEY CAN BE IDENTIFIED AS BEING OPEN OR CLOSED.  

OCCUPANCY
The Apartment may not be occupied by more than the number of persons specified on the Booking Form.     A baby over the age of one year of age counts as one occupant.   Bookings are not transferable to another party except with permission of the Owners.
This is a family apartment and we regret that parties of all young men or all young ladies cannot be accepted.     If, in the opinion of the Owners Representative in Paphos, and after consultation between the Representative and the Owners,  any party causing nuisance or disturbance to others,  or damage to the Apartment will be required to vacate the premises without recompense.   [Damage means damage as deemed by the Representative and/or The Owner].   [The Representative will be person/persons as decided by The Owners at the time of the complaint/disturbance].

ON ARRIVAL AT THE APARTMENT
You will find a Welcome Letter from our Cleaning/Maintenance Service who will be your point of contact should you need advice about the Apartment/report any defects to her.   She will also be a good source of local knowledge for Hire Cars, Hospitals etc and her phone number will be on her letter.

ON ARRIVAL BACK IN THE U.K.
We welcome any feedback you can give us about your stay in our apartment, especially if we can improve it for future guests.   [And we hope you will book with us again for next year!].    And of course contact us by email to activate your  deposit.   This will not automatically be returned to you.  Thank you.

 DEFECTS
Deficiencies, Damage to, or Failure of, any items in the Apartment must be reported to the Owners Cleaning/Maintenance Service immediately, and not left until the day of departure. Repairs are not to be undertaken by guests.    

ALL APARTMENTS MUST BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION – THANKYOU.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – THE APARTMENT IS STRICTLY A NON-SMOKING APARTMENT.    IF THIS MIGHT REPRESENT A PROBLEM FOR YOU, WE WOULD ASK THAT YOU DON’T MAKE THE BOOKING WITH US AS WE HAVE NO WISH TO CURTAIL ANY ENJOYMENT OF YOUR HOLIDAY.
